Tucker’s Livestock Farm
Hobby Farm Selling Free-Ranged Quality Eggs and Chickens
Sign up for weekly farm-fresh eggs! Order baby chicks from our farm!
We have over 30 chickens at Tucker’s Livestock Farm. If you know chickens, and especially chicken hatcheries, you will notice that we don’t have a lot of chickens compared to others. This is because we are a hard-working hobby farm, striving towards quality, not quantity to produce the best chicks for our customers. Don’t hesitate to ask questions and make suggestions! We’re always looking to improve. When I am stuck between two breeds to consider adding, I will post them somewhere on the website (most likely the homepage), and you can help me decide! Look below to see our flocks!
Coming Soon!!! French Black Copper Marans (January 2025 approx.) I will post photos of chicks as soon as they arrive!
- Hope – 5 years old, male, oldest rooster on the farm, parents are Savage (sire) and Ariana (dam)-both deceased, main rooster, children are Little Rooster-son, Rudy-son. Cross of Brahma (sire) and Wyandotte (dam). Half-Sibling: Blackie.
- Scarlett – 6 years old, female, oldest hen on the farm, parents are unknown (store bought hen), main hen, children possibly are Little Rooster, Rudy, and Blackie (definite daughter). Mate: Hope. I say “possibly” for all her possible children, except Blackie because they are either her chicks or Blackie’s. Siblings: unknown. Breed: Black Australorp. I took a picture that has her multi-colored eyelid in it, so that’s why it looks like she has something in her eye. She was born with a little white spot on her eyelid.
- Blackie – 5 years old, female, parents are Savage (sire) and Scarlett (dam), both deceased. Children are, possibly, Little Rooster and Rudy. Mate: Hope. Again, I say possibly for her children because they are either hers or Scarlett’s. Half-siblings is Hope. Breed: cross of Brahma (sire) and Australorp (dam).
The rest need good photoshoots taken. These are the chickens that are a part of my non-purebred breeding flocks. I don’t breed them too much, but if you want some “mutt” chicks please let me know when you send your message so that we can hatch some for you. I realize that the details and setup of this section are not very organized. I will keep editing so it is easier to read. This is a relatively new website.
